Mary Ann Vazquez

NFP Nurse Home Visitor

Mary Ann Vasquez is a nurse home visitor through Children’s Futures Nurse-Family Partnership program. Mary Ann Vasquez delivers support to vulnerable first time moms to have a healthy pregnancy. In her role she helps new mothers become knowledgeable and responsible parents so their babies will have the best possible start in life. Nurse-Family Partnership services have shown to help break the cycle of poverty, strengthen communities and improve lives. Ms. Vazquez is bilingual and delivers the program in English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Children’s’ Futures, Ms. Vazquez was a school nurse for private schools with children in grades pre-K to 8th. She worked as a nurse at a community clinic in the pediatric and internal medicine departments providing culturally competent nursing care across the lifespan.  In addition her experience includes work as a home visitor and at the critical care unit in a large medical center in Monmouth County.

Ms. Vazquez earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from New Jersey City University.
