As the Financial Officer for Children’s Futures (CF), Ms. Reed is responsible for planning, directing and supervising Children’s Futures fiscal affairs to include financial reporting, daily accounting function, coordinator all grant expenditures and balancing the general ledger.
Prior to joining CF, Ms. Reed was a founding Principal of Secrets Financial Group. She supervised the overall operations of Business Management, including bookkeeping and accounting for celebrity clients in music, sports and entertainment, as well as entrepreneurs. Specifically, she focused on new businesses while continuing to provide client service on various accounts. In her spare time, Ms. Reed continues to serve as a tax consultant for individuals and volunteers through the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) to assist, counsel, and prepare taxes for the elderly and low income families during tax season.
Ms. Reed has a Professional Master of Accountancy (PMA) from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ and earned a B.S. in accounting from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ.
