Medical Director and Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (HBCBSNJ). As an Officer of HBCBSNJ, Dr. Bonaparte oversees all aspects of the organization’s medical programs as well as team building, negotiating, performance improvement, cost containment and improving access to care. In addition to his work as HBCBSNJ Medical Director and Clinical Affairs Vice President, Dr. Bonaparte is also the Chief Medical Officer of Horizon NJ Health. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton in Hamilton, NJ. He has also served as VP of Medical Services for three managed care organizations. Dr. Bonaparte earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) at Royal United Hospital in Bath, United Kingdom. He is also the founder and Senior Pastor of New Hope Church of God in Millstone Township, NJ.
