Bernice Bouzy
NFP Nurse Home Visitor
Bernice Bouzy works as a nurse home visitor for the Children’s Futures Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program. Through this home visiting program, she gives vulnerable first-time moms the support they need to have a healthy pregnancy and confidently create better lives for their children and themselves. Nurse-Family Partnership services have been shown to help break the cycle of poverty, strengthen communities, and improve lives.
Prior to joining Children’s Futures, Ms. Bouzy worked as a staff nurse at CentraState Medical Center. She also worked as a nurse at a community clinic in Peru providing free medical care to underserved locals. Ms. Bouzy delivers the NFP program in English and Spanish.
Ms. Bouzy earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Summa Cum Laude honors from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.
