Serving the Community During the Pandemic

Dear Friends,

As we posted in mid-March 2020, while Children’s Futures is carefully watching the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, we are actively taking steps to ensure the safety of our team and the continuity of our operations. We’ve had disaster preparedness and business continuity plans in place for events such as natural disasters and pandemics for some time, and we are prepared to withstand these occurrences with minimal impact to you.

Due to the recent increase in coronavirus cases in New Jersey along with State and Local mandates, we have made adjustments to our normal work schedule. Please know that every effort is being made to assist those we serve as well as ensure the safety of our team.

Children’s Futures offices will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, to provide all normal services including pregnancy testing which does not require an appointment.  All outreach efforts and activities will continue as scheduled.

As of Monday, October 5, 2020, Children’s Futures offices will be closed on Mondays and Fridays & our team of Home Visiting Nurses, Doulas, and Case Manager will work via Telehealth and one on one (as needed) while the rest of our CF team will work remotely from home to adhere to Federal, State, County and City guidelines.

PLEASE NOTE:  PREGNANCY TESTING HOURS: Mondays & Fridays – Appointment ONLY; Tuesday-Thursday – NO Appointment needed between 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We are encouraging all of our clients, employees and the community to put their health in the forefront so we can continue to operate effectively and do our part to prevent the spread of disease.  We will continue to assess the situation and keep you all posted if anything changes as we understand the rapidly evolving situation is causing uncertainty.

As your community partner striving to strengthen children and families of Trenton and the surrounding areas, please continue to stay informed, healthy and safe.

Peace and Blessings,
Spencer Lester, CEO/CFO/Project Manager
