A universal prenatal risk assessment screening form for pregnant women to better detect maternal high risk factors earlier in pregnancy, now used statewide as a result of Children’s Futures convening and work with five Medicaid Managed Care Plans.
More than 1,000 nonprofit agency representatives from the health, education, social service fields and journalists increased their knowledge of collaboration, culturally appropriate practices, early brain development, fetal alcohol syndrome, domestic and interpersonal violence’s impact on children, and reporting on children’s health and development issues through participation at our forums and conferences.

Over 40,000 toys and books collected and distributed for area children and families through Children’s Futures Annual Holiday Toy and Book Drive.
Community Events
Sincere 2001, Children’s Futures supported more than two dozen child and family-focused commuity events by local nonprofits for programs ranging from improving after-school activities to promoting excellence in fatherhood.
More than 200 volunteers participated in two separate “Community Days of Outreach” resulting in more than 3,000 homes receiving information about Children’s Futures programs and resources.
